Crowley was driving about the city in the Bentley. Rather randomly, if truth be told. He didn't really have a destination in mind, he was just getting to know the place. Taking note of anything that looked interesting, or anything he might want to revisit. There was a restaurant, there was an electronics store, there was a...

There was a bookstore. A very strangely familiar-looking bookstore.

The Bentley screeched to a halt, Crowley unheeding of any commotion he might be causing. After a few moments, he pulled over and parked, sliding out of the Bentley slowly. He stood there for a minute before stepping up to the door. He glanced at the sign, the illegible listing of the store's hours, just like the one he'd seen a thousand times elsewhere.

"I'm going to bloody well regret this..."

He pushed the door open and stepped inside, letting it close behind him.

"I dunno. Sober up, go home, get some sleep?"

It didn't really occur to Crowley that Aziraphale may have been asking more in the long term.

"Mm. Probably should, I guess..."

He wasn't really sure, now that he thought about it, exactly what he'd meant with that question. Oh well. The present came first... Everything else would fall into place.

"Hate this bit," Crowley muttered, then winced as he wished himself sober. "Ow. It's better than the hangover, though."

Aziraphale followed suit, grimacing slightly. He never could quite get used to that.

"Yes... though this wouldn't have been a really bad one. We've gone through twice as much as this before, easily," he said thoughtfully.

Well, not we we, he amended mentally. But close enough.

"I've had my hangover for the decade not too long ago, thanks all the same," Crowley said, making a face. He reached over to pick his sunglasses up off the table and put them on. "I guess I'd better be going... Places to go, people to see, stuff to pack."

Aziraphale nodded. "If you want to, you can come by when you're free and we could go visit one of the restaurants around here. I've been to several, but there are still plenty that I've heard good things about."

"Sounds good," Crowley said, standing up and straightening his jacket. "I could do with a nice dinner in a place I don't feel like I need to be watching the door all night, just in case."

Aziraphale shook his head and stood, stretching a bit. "You won't have to do that here."

"Which would be why I'm moving over here," Crowley commented with a wry twist of his lips. He ran a hand through his hair and stretched. "I'd better get going. See you around, angel."

Aziraphale nodded. "I'll be here, as you know."

He was doing his best not to fidget. He'll be back, he told himself firmly. As long as he wants to, of course.

"Yeah, I know. I'll give you my new address when I get one," Crowley said, waving casually as he wandered towards the door.

"G'night, angel."

And he left.
